A family from Upper Swabia has won the Terrazza patio roof and the Sottezza II conservatory awning from weinor in a competition.
Luck always strikes others, you think. And when it does knock on your door, you are usually stunned. That's what happened to the Fels family of five in a small town between Ulm and Lake Constance. They took part in a reader competition organised by the magazine "Mein Eigenheim", in which the main prize was a weinor Terrazza patio roof and a Sottezza II sunroom awning with LED lighting.
The joy was naturally huge. After all, the family had wanted a beautiful, high-quality sun and weather protection on the patio for a long time. Previously, the family used a parasol, but this was not a permanent solution. It didn't provide enough shade and had to be closed immediately when it was windy. The prize came at just the right time.
Now you can relax and enjoy being outside, regardless of rain or wind. The Terrazza patio cover provides reliable protection from the elements thanks to its solid aluminium construction. Weather-sensitive garden furniture no longer needs to be brought to safety. And the decorative fabric of the "Sottezza II" awning, which runs underneath the patio cover, reliably protects against dirt and brings a cosy atmosphere into the open air. It also reduces heat build-up under the patio roof.
A real atmosphere is created when the LED lighting is switched on in the evening. It is integrated into the cassette of the Sottezza II conservatory awning and provides beautiful, warm white light, which can also be dimmed by remote control. In addition to the patio roof and awning, the Fels family also had a VertiTex awning from weinor fitted. It was fitted to the side, as the terrace on the slope is open to the west for the slanting evening sun. Although it looks enchanting, it is often dazzling. Thanks to VertiTex, this is now a thing of the past. Just like the awning and LED lighting, it can be conveniently operated via BiConnect radio control with a hand-held transmitter.
The winning family was also delighted with the quality of the installation. weinor specialist partner Schlegel GmbH installed the patio roof and awning in just two days, all to the complete satisfaction of the Fels family.
